Charles Le Corbusier, who, born in Switzerland, spread his theories and realized his projects all over the globe. The LC2 Petit Comfort Sofa is one of his most prominent furniture designs.

The LC2 was the first design in which Le Corbusier applied his vision for a visible external frame which embodied the clean minimalism and industrial rationale of the International Style.

This beautiful reproduction sofa is exceptionally comfortable, and is recognised as Le Corbusier's’ most important design.

Made to the very highest standards, this LC2 chair is covered in quality leather, with legs of the highest quality 304 grade chrome plated steel

The name Le Corbusier is only used to describe the characteristics of the sofa made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.

Other information

The Sofa frame is made out of dried solid wood. The wood has undergone a steam drying treatment in order to bring the moisture content to absolute highest standard to meet the European furniture industry standards. This will guarantee a long lasting life of your sofa.

The foam used in the sofa is 35/40 (kg/m3) for the main seating cushions and 30/35 (kg/m3) for the backrest cushions and the arm rest cushions.

There are different leather styles available; please contact our Customer Service for details.  Please note that all leathers comply with the European standards.  The leather and foam we use do consist with the UK BS 5852 and USA CA 117 fire retardant certifications and regulations.

Leather Styles

At SofaSale we offer different Leather Styles. For our Web promotion price we use Premium Synthetic Leather. This is the highest grade Synthetic Leather made. Below you will find the Premium Synthetic leather codes: H01- H40. Please choose you colour and mark your choice in the drop down menu above.

Top Grain Italian Leather

Most of our customers prefer real leather, which we can also provide in different colour styles. We use top grain Italian Leather. Below you will find the Top Grain Italian Leather codes: B01- B32. Please choose you colour and mark your choice in the drop down menu above.

Important notice

The price for Top Grain Italian Leather will be higher than our Premium Synthetic Leather. The price difference is given in the drop down menu. Please note this price is for Half Leather only. Since most furniture in the market is made in half leather, we also quote you this price. If you prefer full leather (including all back parts in Top Grain Italian Leather), please call our Customer Service for a full Leather quotation.

What is the White Glove Installation Service?

This is a professional furniture installation service; where your order is delivered inside the room with a 2 man professional team. This team will unpack, install and place your furniture pieces into position. Without this service, your order will be delivered packed to the entrance of your home by our delivery team.

Please note this installation service is only valid if your furniture can be freely moved into your room on our transportation trolley carts by lift or ground floor. The service does not include any walk up or walk down to different floor levels. This service can be purchased separately under the walk up service fee.

Please note that the installation of all our mounted lamps should be performed by a certified electrician and not by our team, we are happy to refer you.
